Going to the hospital, why do we dislike it so much?

Many people find going to the hospital a daunting and anxiety riddling experience. And, when i say many people even medical staff are also affected by this. Four in 10 adults feel anxiety when going to the doctor, even if it is for a regular checkup. The problem with this is one creates avoidance, our brain is wired to avoid anything that creates feelings of anxiety or dread= so in the end we delay until we can't anymore. This can lead to missed diagnoses and worse health outcomes.
