Each 5 ml of Medovent Elixir contains 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride. Medovent helps loosen mucus and ease coughs caused by chest congestion. It's typically used for short-term relief of symptoms from respiratory illnesses like the common cold, flu, or bronchitis. Its also used in emphysema with bronchitis pneumoconiosis, chronic inflammatory pulmonary conditions, tracheobronchitis (respiratory tract inflammation), bronchiectasis, bronchitis with bronchospasm asthma.
